A DRIFT DAY Retreat online - Join us for our first virtual DRIFT Day Retreat - Saturday 9th May 2020

 

DRIFT with a difference, from a distance... jump onto our cloud... 

A Day at Drift - usually we’d drift away in our meditations, surf sessions & share amazing food & conversation, maybe lie in the sun or walk on the beach and feel the sand in our toes. At this time we’ll be doing as close as we can to it on lockdown.

Drifters know that taking time out to drift to your hearts content can help you come back more centred and stronger. Life hasn't been easy lately and we hope this Drift day offering will benefit anyone who'd like to connect and feel together whilst we're apart. We are scattered around the globe, like-minded people who love surf and exploration, care about the planet and each other. 

Take a day out to dream and drift with us - 'The dreams we dream together become our reality'.

We’ll meditate. We’ll do yoga. We’ll have a catch up and a conversation. We'll have lunch and be joined by guests who'll share their passions with us. 

We'll be joined by our resident surf yogi Natalie Fox, skin and health expert Sarah Carr, environmental surf hero and Patagonia Ambassador Belinda Baggs and artist, surfer and sound healing practitioner Kassia Meador. 

SCHEDULE (UK time / GMT+1) 

10am  Welcome and meditation with Becs 

10.30am  Sharing circle and conversation with Belinda Baggs 

"The dreams we dream together become our reality" we'll be checking in with how everyone is doing and discussion will surround the future after lockdown. What have we been learning; positive and negative. 

11.30am - 1pm Yogarama surf theory and yoga session with Nat Fox. 

Cloud surfing - as close to actual surfing as it might be possible for some at this time. Nat will cover some surf theory and share a yoga flow for surf fitness followed by some relaxing yin before lunch. 

1 - 2pm Lunch Break 

We’ll have lunch together virtually. We’ll suggest recipe ideas in advance that we might eat if we were eating at the tower, but equally feel free to bring your own packed lunch of your favourite foods you're enjoying during lockdown. Food for thought. 

2 - 3.30pm Home self care session 

Sarah Carr will share tips for tension releasing massage techniques you can do on yourself to help you relax and help your skin and nervous system. 

We'll end with a fun session on the dreams we dream for ourselves for the future. This can be in the form of good old fashioned day dreaming, journalling or getting crafty if you love a visual vision board.

BREAK

9pm - Sound healing session with Kassia Meador 
Kassia will share a light of sound session - Sound healing helps release the tension of day-to-day life and opens the door to enhanced intuition, improved immunity, lower blood pressure, reduced stress hormones, stabilized moods, and better sleep.

The cost is £20.00 per person - we are offering free places to key workers and health professionals so if this is you please get in touch.

We will also be making a donation to Surfers Against Sewage.
