YOGA is such a personal journey and there are many schools and styles of yoga.
During this weekend we will explore the yoga that works for you. We will have visiting yoga teachers who will share their passion and their approach and we will explore different practices of yoga. We will have optional yoga sessions running - a two hour workshop in the morning with Calli and an afternoon session with Lisa and we will have discussions and workshops around our yoga practice.
DRIFT YOGA will be an exploration of how yoga fits into your life, the kind of yoga that suits you as an individual and we will focus on how to integrate your yoga practice in a way that works for you and your every day life to give you the most benefits for your body and mind.

Calli’s yoga journey began when she learnt that she could no longer train as a gymnast. Devastated at the thought of losing one of her greatest passions, she quickly searched for ways to find relief from an aching body and busy mind. She started to practice yoga at home, just her, her mat and books. Each time she made it to the mat, she felt a sense of freedom from her aches and pains, she felt strong, she could breathe freely and her mind was no longer muddled. As Calli journeyed further into the unknown world of ancient wisdom and wonder, and explored what yoga truly was, she gained a greater level of freedom, calm and strength. After a number of years teaching, she decided to create a peaceful, uninterrupted space for yoga, pilates and well-being studio.kalimukti.com. It quickly became a popular yoga haven for teachers and students alike, and they enjoyed having a beautiful space to practice together. Calli still felt there was more she could do to share yoga, and so she and her husband combined their skills to create Kalimukti, an online yoga platform. Its mission is to make yoga affordable, enjoyable, and accessible to everyone, giving all the authenticity, quality and benefit of studio classes, but for a fraction of the price. https://www.kalimukti.com
Peace-seeker Calli is a natural busy-head, she practices yoga to find peace and is happiest when outdoors, her favourite thing to do (except yoga) is to spend time with her daughters and husband, walking their dog Sasha.
Calli is a highly experienced RYT200 and RYT500 qualified yoga instructor. Having trained in the UK with Zen Master Julian Daizan Skinner, she went on to train further in India with Shwami Sheeva Yoga Peeth. Calli has completed additional qualifications for prenatal, postnatal and children’s yoga, as well as more recently studying Yin and Meditation. Co-Owner of Kalimukti, a local wellness and yoga centre in Jersey, she teaches in person and online classes to share her mission of helping people find freedom through yoga.
Calli teaches Hatha and Yin style classes with a well-rounded, balanced approach to the traditional practice of yoga, incorporating poses, breathing and relaxation. She also offers pre and post-natal online yoga classes filmed during her own pregnancy and journey into motherhood.
